A journey into the future of automobility
When the elite of the automotive industry comes together at the SAE World Congress & Exhibition in the Cobo Center in Detroit, KIPP CCS simply must be there. The industry fair and its high-level specialist program are highlights of the industry calendar that can’t be missed – and a global meeting place for manufacturers and suppliers, automotive and transportation experts, congress participants, and students. From April 10–12, 2018, the community of industry experts will be discussing the future of mobility and transportation under the motto “Experience the Evolution”.
Focus on lightweight construction
As in previous years, KIPP CCS and German partner companies collaborated on the realization of a lavish and attractive joint appearance at the show. The coordinated focal point topic and the bundling of offers under an overriding theme – this year, “Lightweighting – Materials and Efficiency Pavilion” – makes the joint presence at the show a visitor-magnet, as this year’s show proved once again. Alongside KIPP CCS, the participating companies were AMT Die Casting, Rheinfelden Alloys, Nikkei MC Aluminium, KAMAX and AluMag.
“Making cars comfortable“ was the focal point of the KIPP CCS contribution to the show. Alongside design-oriented exhibits such as the AMG natural wood loading floor, the table mechanism and aluminum door sills for Bentley, the company also displayed a range of products from the cargo management solutions portfolio.
As a recognized leading market player, KIPP CCS attracted numerous visitors to its presence at the show. Customers, business partners, and companies interested in establishing relations with KIPP CCS sought discussions with our representatives at the event.
The SAE reception held by the German-American Chamber of Commerce in the Detroit Athletic Club also offered a relaxed atmosphere with opportunities for making interesting contacts. The German Chamber of Foreign Trade from New York organized this top-class networking event within the context of its activities for the promotion of German-American business relations.
All in all, the show turned out to be an extremely positive event. Summarizing the event, Key Account Manager Viktoria Wolf reports: “Even though the three days were intense and strenuous, they were successful for us in every respect. We gathered new insights and made the best of our opportunities to consolidate existing business relations and establish new contacts.”
