Technical product designer

Technical product designers convert our designers’ specifications into technical documents and plans using CAD. They draft, design and shape KIPP’s products and produce technical drawings for the construction, development and modernisation of machinery and systems.
Summary: Technology, computer skills and a certain amount of creativity make the perfect mix.

What you have to have:

  • Technical understanding
  • Drawing skills
  • Enjoy working with computers
  • Spatial imagination
  • The ability to think in abstract logical terms
  • Diligence

What you can expect – an overview of training at KIPP:

  • Start: 1 September
  • Duration: 3.5 years
  • Place of training: Sulz-Holzhausen
  • Vocational school: 1 – 2 x per week

    Design / development / innovation (focus)

    We will include you rigorously in day-to-day business in the departments. And variety is guaranteed.
  • And after that?
    Plenty of challenging technical tasks wait to be discovered once you’ve finished your training, whether in development, technical documentation or the IT environment.
    And you will also have
    the opportunity to train further, for instance to become a technician or technical business economist.
    Because even after training, learning remains the key to professional development
