KIPP Car Comfort Systems is part of the KIPP Group, a long-standing, owner-managed business in its fourth generation. It consists of seven companies operating worldwide in 32 different business establishments with 1000 employees. Sustainability has been an important part of our group for decades.

Our success story began over 100 years ago.

We are part of the fourth generation of the owner-managed KIPP group and have grown steadily with our challenges. With over 320 employees worldwide, KIPP CCS is now one of the established players in the industry.

History

1919

Founder Christian Kipp lays the foundation for his family business by setting up a mechanical workshop.

2003

KIPP develops new types of fixing systems for cargo spaces and becomes a supplier to the automotive industry.

2005

The automotive division is spun off as KIPP Car Comfort Systems (CCS).

2008

KIPP moves into its new company premises in Sulz-Kastell.

2009

The new Convertible Comfort Systems division kicks off with the first retractable wind deflector module for Mercedes-Benz.

2012

A new assembly plant is built near Budapest, extending production capacity.

2013

Central logistics center built at the Sulz Kastell site – expansion of injection moulding production.

2014

Another production facility is built in Mexico.

2020

Relocation to newly built plant and expansion to include machining facilities in Pilisjászfalu, Hungary.
